The Rotary Drum Cooler Machine

The material coming out of the dryer is too hot to be screened or packaged directly and must be cooled before being screened or packaged. Using a Rotary Drum Cooler Machine can lower the temperature of organic compost and further reduce the moisture content of the raw material, thereby improving pellet strength and appearance quality.

Working Principle

The rotary drum cooler is an inclined horizontal rotating drum with a sealed structure consisting of a support system, a transmission mechanism, a drum body, and a feed and discharge mechanism.

After entering the cooler through a feed pipe, the dried granular fertilizer rotates with the drum. Lifting plates inside the drum evenly distribute the material downward, forming a material curtain. Cold air drawn from the drum head enters the cooler, exchanging heat with the material and cooling it. This cool air removes heat from the fertilizer and reduces its temperature to below 40°C.
