The Rotary Drum Churning Granulator

Compared to other fertilizer granulators, the rotary drum churning granulator‘s greatest strength lies in its dual granulation systems: drum granulation and agitator granulation. This is why it’s also known as a two-in-one agitator-drum granulator.

Working Principle

Different types of organic and inorganic raw materials are prepared and placed inside the rotating drum of the two-in-one granulator for mixing and stirring. The drum mixes and evenly distributes the raw materials, ensuring uniformity of the raw material composition during granulation.

For organic materials, wet granulation is typically used. After passing through the drum section, the raw materials are fed into the second section. Driven by the main shaft, the mixing teeth begin to rotate. The movement of the mixing teeth causes the raw materials to be sheared, squeezed, and compacted within the drum, gradually forming granules.
