Mobile type compost turners are a popular choice for organic fertilizer producers and livestock farmers. They help you harmlessly dispose of organic waste such as cow manure, chicken manure, pig manure, sludge, and sugar residue.Small self-propelled compost turners are also called mobile compost turners or small windrow turners.

Working Principle

This self-propelled composter not only features four wheels but also can move forward, backward, and turn. During operation, workers drive the composter over a pre-prepared long windrow. Rotating blades underneath the machine perform composting operations, such as mixing, loosening, and shifting the raw materials. As the vehicle passes, a new windrow is formed.

This machine can also be used in the field and pulverizes the material at the end of the fermentation process. Its overall structure is sturdy and reliable.

A diesel engine powers the composter, driving its movement and rotating blades to pulverize the windrow, making it very easy to operate.

Things you need to pay attention to when using moving type compost turner?

The width of the pile should not be larger than the machine itself. The height can be extended within 100mm, but there is no length restriction.
At least 10 meters of space must be left at both ends of the pile for turning, and the distance between piles should be 1 meter.
This machine is designed to be used as a walk-behind compost turner and cannot replace a walk-behind or truck-mounted compost turner.
It must operate on a level surface with a concrete floor.
