The Chain Plate Compost Turner

The chain plate compost turner integrates stirring and turning functions and is the core equipment of trough-type aerobic composting fermentation. Its turning and quantitative displacement function, as well as automatic feeding and discharging devices, provide conditions for the aerobic composting system to achieve standardized production and automated control.

Working Principle

Applicable Materials: Chicken manure, cattle dung, sheep manure, pig manure, other animal wastes and carbonaceous materials

The compost turner’s chain forms a 45° angle with the bottom of the fermenter. Once the equipment is started, the chain continuously and gradually picks up material from the bottom of the fermenter, transports it to a higher level, and then drops it down. This allows the microorganisms in the material to obtain sufficient oxygen to decompose the organic matter while also dissipating excess heat, resulting in better and faster composting of the organic waste. The fallen material is then piled up again to make room for new material.
